I lived at NAOMI for 2 years. When I first came here I was in a lot of pain. I had been
sad & depressed since I was 7 years old. I gave my heart to the Lord when I was about
10, but I turned away about 3 years later.
When I was 13 I started getting into fights, doing & selling drugs and all kinds of
trouble. I even ran away from home. I did all of this until I was 16. That's when I went
to live with Linda.
She didn't know what was going on with me until one day she found me on my bed crying. I
told her that I was molested by my father. I held all that pain inside for 10 years.
I am glad I came to NAOMI. Linda has helped me to face and understand what happened to me.
The hardest part was forgiving my father, but the credit goes to the Lord, Who gave me the
strength to go through it all.
